Bringing Baby Home – Introduction To The Basics

This 3 hour intensive course helps parents to be “get it right from the beginning” and includes the following:
Information on Baby care- Breast and bottle feeding, nappy changing, winding and bathing incl demonstrations
Sleep - Routines and issues that may arise
Play and Development - The importance of play and what activities to provide for your baby
Baby’s Health
Out and About - Travel Systems and products on the market
Brief Introduction to Childcare Options available in Ireland

Best practices in Baby Care etc is presented by our Maternity Nurse and Sleeping Training Expert, Teresa Boardman. Teresa has over 20 years experience working with children from newborn upwards.
Travel Systems and products etc on the market is presented by an expert from Murphy’s Nursery Store, Rathcoole.
Introduction to Childcare Options available in Ireland is presented by Carol Flynn, Managing Director, Nanny Solutions.

Weaning To Walking – Prepare For The Next Major Milestone

For New Parents – a 4 week course:

Paediatric First Aid - Introduction to First Aid when caring for children at home
Introduction to Baby Massage - Including the benefits and how it works, showing and teaching some strokes, talking about babies behaviour and how to read their body language, how baby massage can help for colic, constipation and postnatal depression.
Nutrition for Babies - Weaning from Breast to Bottle, Introducing Solids, First Foods and much more.
Childcare Options available in Ireland - Detailed presentation on Au Pairs, Childminders, Creches, Nannies, Playschools and Montessori Schools – services, costs and pros and cons of each.

The Paediatric First Aid class is presented by Siobhan Butler – over 22 years working as both a Registered General and Paediatric trained nurse and currently working in an Accident and Emergency Department in a Dublin Hospital. She is an Occupational First Aid instructor and is registered with OFAAA – the Occupational First Aid Assessment Agency. See www.firstaidforeveryone.ie for more details.
The Baby Massage class is presented by Liselotte Hill – Certified Infant Massage Instructor, Registered Midwife and RGN and Paediatric Nurse. See www.little-miracles.eu for more details.
Nutrition for Babies is presented by Teresa Boardman who has over 20 experience as a Nanny and Maternity Nurse working with children from newborn upwards.
Childcare Options available in Ireland is presented by Carol Flynn, Managing Director of Nanny Solutions with over 15 years in Childcare, Montessori Teaching and Tutoring in Colleges in Ireland and Overseas.
