For New Parents – a 4 week course:
Introducing Solids - Weaning from Breast to Bottle, Nutrition, First Foods and much more.
Mother and baby well-being workshop - covers all aspects of mother and baby’s well being, including some soothing baby massage strokes, postnatal exercises with attention to toning your post-pregnancy tummy, advice on all kinds of “baby issues” like colic, reflux, fussing and crying. Also includes advice on the prevention of post-natal depression and tips on some fun games for parent and baby to partake together.
Paediatric First Aid - Introduction to First Aid when caring for children. The topics covered will include CPR for infants, Choking in babies and infants, Meningitis, Head injuries and Temperature management.
Sleep Routines - Detailed presentation on the benefits of good sleep routines for babies. Tips on how to set up a sleep routine for babies and toddlers and much more.
Introducing Solids and Sleep Routines are presented by Teresa Boardman who has over 20 years experience as a Nanny, Maternity Nurse and Sleep Trainer working with children from newborn upwards.
The Mother and Baby Well Being Workshop is presented by Liselotte Hill who is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, Registered Midwife and RGN and Paediatric Nurse. See http://www.little-miracles.eu for more details.
The Paediatric First Aid Class is presented by Siobhan Butler who has over 22 years working as both a Registered General and Paediatric trained nurse and is currently working in an Accident and Emergency Department in a Dublin Hospital.
